The Ushers serve our parish community by greeting parishioners at the weekend Masses, coordinating the gift procession, collection, communion and distributing the weekly bulletin.
The Ushers offer greetings of friendship and the spirit of helpfulness to parishioners and friends who walk through the doors of St. Nicholas Church. This dedicated group of volunteers from different walks of life and diverse ethnicities form a church ministry whose goals include supporting the clergy and serving the people by enhancing their experience during church services.
Their duties during Mass include greeting people at the doors with smiling faces, helping people to their seats, collecting the offerings, helping people during the Communion service, giving directions and also assisting at special church events throughout the year.
